1. What Dahabi Is

Dahabi lets you catalog a personal jewelry collection — photos, item details, purchase history — and see an estimated melt value calculated from your entered weight and purity against current metal spot prices.

2. Estimates Only — Not a Professional Appraisal

Every value shown in Dahabi is an estimate based on metal weight, purity, and a live spot price. It does not account for brand, craftsmanship, gemstone quality, condition, or resale/collector value, and it is not a professional appraisal, valuation, or guarantee of what your jewelry is worth or could be sold for. For insurance, sale, estate, or other formal purposes, always get a valuation from a qualified, licensed appraiser.

3. Your Responsibility for Accuracy

Dahabi's estimates are only as accurate as the information you (or the AI photo analysis, which you should always review before saving) provide — item type, metal, karat or purity, weight, and so on. You're responsible for reviewing and correcting this information; we are not responsible for decisions you make based on inaccurate data you entered or left uncorrected.

4. Accounts

You can use Dahabi anonymously, with data tied to a temporary session, or create a permanent account with an email and password or Google Sign-In. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure — you're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Dahabi for any unlawful purpose, or to store or upload content you don't have the right to;
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits (such as the free-scan limit on anonymous accounts) through automation, multiple accounts, or similar means;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its underlying infrastructure;
• Upload content that is abusive, illegal, or infringes someone else's rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Service Provided "As Is"

Dahabi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Metal spot prices come from a third-party data provider and may be delayed, cached, or occasionally unavailable; AI photo analysis is a best-effort suggestion, not a guarantee of accuracy. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dahabi and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made based on estimated values it displays.

8. Account Termination and Deletion

You may permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account; this removes your profile, jewelry items, and photos, and cannot be undone. We may also suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with or without notice.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Dahabi after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
